Are you a midwife working in an Australian maternity service, employed at a university, or practising privately? 

The FUCHSIA national study (future proofing the midwifery workforce in Australia) is exploring the health, wellbeing, and sustainability of the Australian midwifery profession. 

If you’re a midwife, have your say about your health and wellbeing, workplace experiences, why you work as a midwife, and your future in the profession. 

You may have received the survey through your maternity service, university or directly from Professor Della Forster — but if not or if missed completing it, this is your invitation to take part. 

By giving voice to midwives, this study aims to help identify workforce issues and improve working conditions.
