Are you a primary care nurse currently working in Australia? 

We are inviting primary care nurses across Australia to participate in a research study exploring nurses’ knowledge, confidence, challenges, and support needs in the management of chronic pain management. 

If you are currently working as a primary nurse, including as a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, or enrolled nurse, in a primary care setting, we invite you to take part in the survey here. 

The findings from this study will help inform the development of future educational resources and support programs to better assist nurses providing chronic pain care in primary settings. 

What does participation involve? 

The study will involve two stages, with participation in stage 2 being completely optional. 

Stage 1 – Online Survey 

Participants will be invited to complete an online questionnaire that will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. 

As a token of appreciation, participants who complete the survey may choose to enter a draw to win one of five $20 gift vouchers. 

Stage 2 – Interview (optional) 

At the end of the survey, participants may choose to take part in a one-on-one online interview, which will that approximately 30-45 minutes and explore experiences, beliefs, and recommendations in greater depth. 

The survey will be completed anonymously, and participation in the second interview stage is entirely optional.
