Pilliga report launches in Sydney and Wollongong this month – join us!
Unions NSW is proud to announce the launch of the Pilliga Campaign Report, a collaborative effort examining and assessing the impact of the Narrabri Gas Project.
Join us at one of two events to mark this important moment and stand in solidarity with the Gomeroi People.
Sydney Launch Event

About the Report
The Pilliga Campaign Report is a collaborative effort between Unions NSW and associated unions examining the impact of the proposed Narrabri Gas Project, which would see up to 850 gas wells drilled in the Pilliga region, on Gomeroi land.
Unions across NSW, including the NSWNMA, have stood in solidarity with the Gomeroi People. As NSWNMA General Secretary Shaye Candish stated:
“Our union is deeply opposed to the approval of new fossil fuel ventures, and we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Gomeroi people in their fight against the Narrabri Gas project.”
