Nurses and midwives you are invited to take part in a research project: “Exploring health care professionals’ understanding of the decision-making process of palliative care of chronic ill patients in Australia and Taiwan”, lead by Dr. Shou-Yu Cindy Wang (principal investigator).
This research project aims to explore the understanding of health care professionals on the decision to use palliative care for chronically ill patients.
Interviews will be conducted via a video conferencing platform, such as Skype, Zoom or platforms that you would like. It is expected that the interview will take approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
Health care professionals who meet the following criteria are invited to participate in an interview:
(a) work full time, part time or casual;
(b) and to have at least 6 months of working experience;
(c) require to have at least 3 months of experience working specifically with chronic illness patients;
(d) participants were also required to be aged 18 years and above as well as to be able to speak English; (e) agree to participate in a recorded interview.
