I have made a workers compensation claim but this has been denied. I have been told I need to get some specialist medical evidence to support this claim but I know this is expensive and I can’t work at the moment. What are my options here?
It is possible for legal representatives to apply for funding on behalf of injured workers to the Independent Review Office (IRO) to cover the costs of an Independent Medical Examination, The IRO assess applications for grants to cover costs reasonably necessary to obtain medical information and pursue a claim.
