I wish to tender my resignation but I’m not sure what to write and I don’t how much notice to give. I work in the public health system. What do I do?

As per clause 45 of the Public Health System Nurses’ and Midwives’ (State) Award, you are required to give a minimum of 14 days’ notice in writing. There is no set format for submitting your resignation, but we advise you to keep it as simple and straightforward as possible.
For example, “I write to tender my resignation and hereby give 14 days’ notice of the effect of my resignation”.
