Internationally Qualified Nurses and the transition to the Aged Care Sector in Australia
Are you a Internationally Qualified Registered Nurse working in Aged Care? Registered Nurse and Sydney University PHD Student, Louise Sheehy wants to hear from you.
Her research seeks to investigate and deepen understanding of the lived experience of Internationally Qualified Registered Nurses (IQN) who have transitioned to the Australian Nursing workforce and are working in the residential aged care setting.
We would like to invite you to take part in a 60-90 minute one-to-one interview session either face to face or via zoom if you:
- Have completed a relevant bridging course leading to AHPRA registration in Australia;
- Are a Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA
- Are currently working in the aged care sector of Australia
- Have been working in Aged Care for a minimum of twelve (12) months
To thank you for your time, participants will receive a $50 Westfield Gift Card upon the completion of your interview.
