Palm Sunday rally and march
This year’s Palm Sunday rally and march for refugee rights will be taking place at 14:00 on Sunday 24 March at Belmore Park in Sydney.
The annual event brings together community and religious groups to call for the fairer treatment of refugees and asylum seekers, including through improvements in refugee health and visa reform.
This year’s rally will reflect upon the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, and how these crises contribute to the creation of more refugees.
You can find more information about this event here.
The NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association has endorsed this rally, and is inviting members and community supporters to attend. NSWNMA General Secretary, Shaye Candish, will deliver the union address as part of the event.
