Allity Aged Care nurses push for ratios in new Enterprise Agreement
NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association (NSWNMA) members brought over 650 petition signatures from Allity staff to their first bargaining meeting yesterday.
RNs, ENs and AiNs sent a strong message to Allity, rejecting the initial offer from management of a 2% pay rise and a ‘rollover’ Agreement with only minimal changes.
The petition calls on management to provide staff-resident ratios, a fair pay rise and better working conditions in the new agreement.
NSWNMA union representatives asked Allity to consider the petition and commit to bargaining meaningfully at the next meeting on 19 January 2023.
Check out this video shared at the meeting, with NSWNMA members from Redleaf Manor holding the petitions from all 14 Allity facilities across NSW!
