This news comes after the Fair Work Commission (FWC) recently made the decision to increase aged care Award wages by 15%, a correction addressing the long-standing issue of undervaluation in the aged care sector.  

This is a huge step forward after union members spent two years fighting for significant wage increases for all aged care workers.
